Changing Ascendancy in Path of Exile 2 isn't the same as rerolling your whole character, and that's a good thing. Early gearing still matters more than pride
One small thing newer players often overlook is armour in Act 1. Even if your dream build is a fast Evasion Monk or a Wisp-heavy Huntress, early flat mitigation helps more than people admit. You can swap into cleaner bases once Act 2 opens up and your passive tree starts to make sense.
