Tage Stunden verbleibend

Search and Destroy players have a reason to keep an eye on the bomb this week. An earlier fix for bomb stretching was rolled back on October 25 after it stopped some players from picking up the objective in certain spots. That means the strange stretching behavior could return until another fix is ready. If you're using MW4 Bot Lobbies to practise your routes, take some time to watch how the bomb behaves near walls, too. A separate October 24 fix addressed defuses from unintended positions or distances, so those long-range interactions should no longer work.

Quick Fix Needs More Breathing Room

Quick Fix isn't quite the safety net it was at launch. Before the October 28 update, health could keep recovering even when another opponent landed shots. Now incoming damage interrupts that recovery as intended. That matters when you're trying to win a second fight right after the first. Duck behind cover, wait for a proper opening, and don't assume a partial heal will carry you through another gunfight. On the other side, putting a few shots into a wounded opponent can stop their recovery and give you a chance to push. The update also changed the perk's hitmarker icon.

Slower Dives Change Your Routes

The October 28 movement adjustment cuts dive velocity by 23 percent. Infinity Ward made the temporary change after identifying a speed burst triggered by diving immediately after a sprint jump. The team says it's working on a lasting solution that won't affect normal dive speed, though there's no date for it yet. Until then, that familiar dash across an exposed lane may leave you in the open longer than expected. Diving can still get you behind cover or away from a grenade; it just won't move you across the map as quickly. Try your usual routes again before jumping into a close match.

plus For All Returns to 30

plus For All's score limit is back at 30 after a short adjustment prompted by matches running down the clock. Parties are limited to two players, and the developers plan to restore the match-ending killcam in a later update. It's still a mode where a few seconds can make all the difference. Learn where players tend to reappear, keep an escape route in mind, and don't chase every fight into an unfamiliar room. Elsewhere, a disappearing bomb in Collateral was fixed on October 25, while Hijack received better spawn locations and respawn timing on October 24.

Getting Ready for Season 1

There are smaller fixes worth noting, too. Editing a loadout for the first time during a match should no longer cause a brief freeze, and Portable Radar now displays the minimap correctly in Hardcore. Old Multiplayer killstreak indicators should no longer appear in DMZ, while Deathstalker can't travel outside the playable area on Rooftops. With Season 1 set to begin on November 6, players have a little time to adjust before new maps arrive. Whether you're testing a lighter loadout or looking at cheap Bot Lobbies MW4 for practice, focus on finding cover and learning routes that don't depend on the old dive speed.

Modern Warfare 4 players can use U4GM to adjust to slower dives, test Quick Fix timing, and practise routes for Free For All and Search and Destroy.
