Which Live Series Cards Changed

The update affected 172 Live Series rating entries. There were 112 overall rating changes: 111 increases and one decrease. It also listed 49 position changes and 36 rarity changes. Aaron Ashby made the biggest jump among the featured players, moving from 75 to 83 OVR. Michael King went from 78 to 84, and Paul Blackburn climbed from 72 to 78. William Contreras rose from 81 to 85, Bryan Baker from 83 to 87, and Trevor Megill from 84 to 87. Ramón Laureano dropped from 78 to 76. Contreras, Baker, and Megill reached Diamond, while Ashby moved up to Gold. These were the last scheduled ratings changes of the 2026 cycle, so don't count on another update to raise a card's value.

Make the Most of Finest 3

The Finest release added 20 separate cards across a program, a choice pack, and a collection. If you're looking for a place to start, open the Finest 3 Program and check its objectives. Jonathan Aranda's 99 OVR card arrives at five points. Oneil Cruz follows at 20, Jesús Luzardo at 40, Aroldis Chapman at 50, Zack Wheeler at 90, and Yordan Alvarez at 100. There's also a choice player pack at 95 points. Five Moments are listed at six points each, and one player mission gives 10 points for pitching five innings with eligible 2026 Finest players. Check the requirements before you play. The Finest Collection also offers a 99 OVR Elly De La Cruz for collecting nine eligible cards, so inspect the collection screen before committing them.

Find the Right Fit for Your Squad

A higher overall is nice, but it won't tell you everything. Ashby and Megill are worth another look in the bullpen if you already own their Live Series cards. Compare their pitches and control with the relievers you trust. King could help your rotation, while Contreras gives you another option at catcher. For hitters, look at contact and power against both pitching hands, plus defense and eligible positions. Some attributes can change even when a card's overall stays put.
