Morning everyone, my MG HS has been sitting for a few days and now the battery is completely dead – just a click and nothing else. I'm in Sharjah and trying to find a workshop that actually knows these cars, because I've read that on modern MGs, you can't just jump it or swap the battery without doing some kind of system reset afterwards . I've seen some owners say that after a dead battery, the car throws all sorts of warning lights that only clear after a proper diagnostic reset, and there's apparently a specific procedure to re-initialize the power steering and stability control systems after the battery has been disconnected . I know Inter Emirates Motors is the official MG distributor in Sharjah with a service center on Maleha Street, and they have an industry-leading six-year warranty which might cover this if I go to them . But I'm also seeing options like Dynatrade which is a dealer alternative with certified technicians for MG, and Najm Al Reef Batteries in Sharjah that actually lists MG as one of their approved battery brands . I'm really just looking for the Top MG service centre available in Sharjah that can handle the battery replacement properly and do any necessary software resets, because I don't want to be stuck with warning lights or charging issues down the line. If anyone's had a good experience with a specific workshop in Sharjah for their MG, I'd really appreciate the recommendation.
